Jack and Gill’s is an utterly charming and exceptionally well run home-based childcare company located just opposite the Pennthorpe gate.  We are very proud of our association with them, not least because proprietors Brian and Tonia Jackson-Robson are Pennthorpe parents.  Both are passionate childcare practitioners and it shows from the moment you step through the door.  From the big cosy kitchen to the small pets room to the expansive deck overlooking what can only be described as a mini children’s farm, this is a child’s utopia.  Together they have developed an exceptional Forest School programme as well.  We can recommend Jack and Gill’s unreservedly, and based on personal experience, because they are easily the most popular choice of babycare amongst our working-parent teachers.

Moving our children to Jack and Gill was the best thing we've done. They love it there and have benefited so much from interacting with other children of different ages. The staff are fantastic and take the time to address any specific issues that you may have regarding your child and put in place measures to deal with this in a very sympathetic and caring manner.

Daily written reports and end of term reviews are provided for each child to monitor progress and learning development which is very encouraging as a parent.
