"It's really difficult to hand over your baby to someone else's care and judgement. Logan has been with you since he was 7 months old, now he's leaving your full time care to go to big shcool. Logan has grown so much with you guys, the forest school experience has encouraged Logan's independence and love for the outdoors. Your home from home love and guidance has helped him be confident and his care for nature and for your pets has also grown over the years. He loves them all, although Logan insisits Maddie will be missing him so of course we will be back! Thank you once more. We are forever grateful."

"I feel very proud to be a part of the school readiness programme at this amazing forest school setting."

Jack and Gill’s is an utterly charming and exceptionally well run home-based childcare company located just opposite the Pennthorpe gate. We are very proud of our association with them, not least because proprietors Brian and Tonia Jackson-Robson are Pennthorpe parents. Both are passionate childcare practitioners and it shows from the moment you step through the door. From the big cosy kitchen to the small pets room to the expansive deck overlooking what can only be described as a mini children’s farm, this is a child’s utopia. Together they have developed an exceptional Forest School programme as well. We can recommend Jack and Gill’s unreservedly, and based on personal experience, because they are easily the most popular choice of babycare amongst our working-parent teachers.
Christina Jones (former Headmasters Wife) Pennthorpe School
I cannot recommend Jack & Gill enough, my daughter started with them when she was 3 (now 5) & has loved every minute she has attended. I feel secure in the knowledge that she is well looked after & attended to, as I get great feedback from the staff. They offer a great variety of activities, the Forest School is amazing & so great for that outdoor space that so many children crave & enjoy.

Tonia has been an absolute godsend! My daughter (15 months) is clearly delighted to be dropped off at Tonia's and the reports that come back about the amazing home cooked food and exciting activities make me feel quite inadequate. Tonia couldn't be more helpful and she has made my life as a working mum so much easier.
Emily King (former Headmasters Wife and Teacher at Pennthorpe School)
Moving our children to Jack and Gill was the best thing we've done. They love it there and have benefited so much from interacting with other children of different ages. It's lovely to know that they're so happy when you drop them off in the morning for a long day, and great to see what they've been up to through tapestry and their home books (and now they are always excited to tell us!). I'm so impressed with the activities they're doing and what they're already learning. They're turning into confident and sociable little boys and I think being at Jack and Gill has played a big role in this, thank you!

I cannot recommend Jack and Gill’s highly enough. The home from home setting is so welcoming and helps make the children feel relaxed and safe.
The staff are fantastic and take the time to address any specific issues that you may have regarding your child and put in place measures to deal with this in a very sympathetic and caring manner.
Daily written reports and end of term reviews are provided for each child to monitor progress and learning development which is very encouraging as a parent.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others.

My girls have been going to Tonia's since the older one was 18 months. She's now nearly 10 and she still loves going - over the years a really sweet relationship has developed with Tonia and Brian. They create a very fun and friendly environment, where all the children are relaxed and happy. My two love having the chance to help with the pets and relish the freedom and adventure the Holiday Club provides.

It is with great sadness that we bid our farewells to you. You have provided such a caring and nurturing environment for Sophie and she has grown up and learnt so much in the 18 months that she's been coming to you.
You have created something very special at Jack and Gill's and I feel very lucky that Sophie and I have had such a positive childcare experience. Thank you!

Thank you so much for making our daughters time with you such a happy time. She skips in and bounces out - always with a smile. She has loved the woods. It has really helped her grow both physically and emotionally and allowed her to grow in her own time.

I am forever thankful for everything
