Waiting list form, fees and other info

How Our Waiting List Works

Our main intake takes place each September, and we do our very best to offer families a place then. Occasionally, spaces become available earlier if circumstances change for existing families.

When Can I Visit?

Once you’ve joined our waiting list, you’ll be invited to book a visit. Viewings are usually held from early spring through to July, and we kindly ask that families are on the waiting list before attending.

Fees

Fees and Funding Information

For details of charges for under-5s (all year round care from April 2025), please email us directly.

Funding for 9 Months+ and 2-Year-Olds (Term Time Only)

  • From April 2024, eligible working parents of 2-year-olds can access up to 15 hours of funded childcare.

  • From September 2025, eligible working parents of children aged 9 months to 5 years can access up to 30 hours of funded childcare.

Each application is assessed individually.

To apply, you must obtain an eligibility code via the government’s Childcare Choices website.

Funding for 3–5 Year Olds (The Term After They Turn 3)

We offer the extended 15 hours of funding (often referred to as the “30 hours funding”) for eligible families.

Flexible and Emergency Childcare

We understand childcare needs can change. If you require the occasional session or odd day, we will always try to help if spaces are available. Priority is given to children who attend regularly.

Invoicing

  • Fees are collected monthly in advance, on the last day of each month for the month ahead.

  • Late payment charges apply.

  • Extra sessions must be paid in advance via BACS.

Absence or Sickness

Fees remain payable if your child is absent due to illness or holiday.

Late Pick-Up Fees

Additional charges apply for late collection.

Tax free childcare scheme

We are on the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme. Please ask for more details.

Outdoor clothing

Clothing & Kit List

A full kit list will be provided when your child joins us, but here’s a helpful guide to get started:

Footwear

  • All year round: sensible, sturdy shoes.

  • Wet weather: waterproof wellies.

  • Winter: snow boots (warm and waterproof are best).

  • Dry weather: trainers.
    No open-toed shoes.

Clothing

  • Legs & arms covered: long trousers, socks, and long-sleeved tops help protect against scratches and stings (also great in summer).

  • Layering is key in colder months:

    • Thermal leggings & long-sleeved base layers.

    • 2 pairs of socks (a thick pair over a thinner one).

    • Lined waterproof trousers are very effective.

  • Gloves: 2 pairs (one spare). Please attach gloves to coats with clips or elastic to prevent them being lost.

  • Hats: a warm woollen hat in winter (wool is especially effective).

  • Note: Ski suits, while warm, can be too bulky and reduce movement.

Hot Weather

  • Sun hat or cap.

  • Sun cream applied before arrival, with a bottle sent in for top-ups during the day.

We’re happy to recommend tried-and-tested clothing brands once your child starts.
