At Jack and Gill, we believe that children thrive when they’re connected — to nature, to animals, to each other, and to themselves.

Since 2003, our small, family-run setting has offered something a little different: a nurturing blend of Forest School learning and real-life experiences visiting our working smallholding. It's a place where children can climb trees, feed the animals, plant vegetables, and grow in every sense of the word.

Here, nature isn’t just the backdrop — it’s the teacher. Whether building dens in the woods or collecting eggs from the chickens, every moment is a chance to explore, discover, and develop confidence, creativity, and care for the world around them.

Our qualified Forest School Leaders and dedicated team guide each child with patience, warmth, and a deep respect for childhood. We offer the kind of personal attention and freedom to play that larger settings simply can’t match.
